Grateful Dead - Stealin'
(bootleg US-7? VG+ 500:-)

The Grateful Dead was an American rock band formed in 1965 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The band was known for its unique and eclectic style, which fused elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, country, improvisational jazz, psychedelia, and space rock, and for live performances of long musical improvisation. These various influences were distilled into a diverse and psychedelic whole that made the Grateful Dead "the pioneering Godfathers of the jam band world.

A rare mid-1970’s unauthorized exact reproduction of the Grateful Dead’s ultra rare debut single, “Don’t Ease Me In/Stealin” on Scorpio. An authentic first pressing would be worth $400 today; here’s an opportunity to get an exact copy for far less (this repro is so similar to the first pressing that some have been sold as originals.) This repress was made in Los Angeles in very limited numbers circa 1975, and is extremely rare itself, with non-album versions of these songs. Great early garage/psychedelic rock from the masters.
