Following the release of some secret Russian WWII records 'Mike Laszlo' (Armin Mueller-Stahl) finds himself accused of being a notorious war criminal.
Laszlo, a U.S. citizen for nearly 50 years is particularly proud of his daughter, whom he must now call upon for help.
