Mott the Hoople - All the Young Dudes
|
(CBS 8271 Sca-72 VG+ 225:-)
Flamboyant British icons of the 1970s whose nasty fusion of heavy metal, glam rock, and sneering cynicism influenced many punk bands.
"All the Young Dudes" was a huge turning point for the then-struggling British band. Mott the Hoople were on the verge of breaking up when David Bowie stepped in and gave them the LP's title song "All the Young Dudes". Bowie also produced & arranged the album which took Mott "from potential has-beens to avatars of the glam rock movement". This is a rare Swedish issue; b/w "One of the Boys".
